Alliteration

Definition:Alliteration is the repetition of the same letter or sound at the beginning of words that are close together

Example:  
Dewdrops Dancing Down Daisies

Don't delay dawns disarming display .
Dusk demands daylight .
Dewdrops dwell delicately
drawing dazzling delight .
Dewdrops dilute daisies domain.
Distinguished debutantes . Diamonds defray delivered
daylights distilled daisy dance .

Significant: Alliteration is used make our tongues twisted when we try to read it. And it is really fun to read and listen to. To be able to use alliteration correctly, it is really hard, because we need to really think about how we should use words to make it sounds right and good.
